Inspired by the Facebook page, ART IN HAND, my family headed over to our local park to do what I like to call, "Abra-Kadabra Splatter Painting" with a fly swatter! In the midst of this art project, one of our local police officers, Officer Scott Ahern, stopped by to ask Cecilia what she was creating. It was delightful to watch her eyes light up with excitement as this friendly face acknowledged her hard work. Once she completed her work, Cecilia had a difficult time taking off her smock, however, that's when this "unsung hero" stepped in! Thank you Officer Ahern for your mindfulness and patience in adding additional sunshine to Cecilia's day! We love the Rutherford Police Department and how much they care for our town and families that live in it!
